Squamish CAN Raffle 2025

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  2. 2. Raffle

    BC Gaming Event Licence #160340

    1 for $10.00; 500 tickets
    3 for $25.00; 600 tickets

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: April 30, 2025 at 11:30:00 a.m. PDT

    Draw
    Prize Raffle draw: May 2, 2025 at 11:00:00 a.m. PDT

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at Private Residence, 22-1821 willow cresent, Squamish, BC V8B 0L9

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://squamishcan.rafflenexus.com/winners on May 2, 2025.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Squamish Climate Action Network.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Squamish Climate Action Network or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Squamish Climate Action Network does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: communications@squamishcan.net. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Delay in Draw

    Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

  8. 8. Other

    Please email our team at communications@squamishcan.net should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Cause

In 2022, we hosted an online fundraiser raffle for our town’s first school farm in downtown Squamish. It was a wild success and the community excitement was significant. The farm now provides endless learning opportunities for students, as well as helps to provide fresh, nutritious, and sustainably-grown food for the cafeteria, families, and community members. We couldn’t have done it without our generous donors! Last year we had a plethora of local donors that allowed us to raise nearly $5,000 to fund our increased programming.

Our raffle fundraiser will be live this spring, and your sponsorship would be invaluable to us. We are ambitiously hoping to fundraise close to $10,000. This funding will go towards supporting our many community projects, such as:

  • ✅ School farm and gardens education program, impacting over 1,200 kids in Squamish
  • ✅ Community gardens - advocating for new gardens and maintain existing ones (we have over 100 families on our waiting list)
  • ✅ Zero waste education and food preservation & garden education workshops
